19-year-old Seminole woman beaten to death

Authorities are in Texas and Oklahoma to investigate the death of a 19-year-old member of the Seminole Nation. Casey Jo Pipestem was found in a creek bed in the Grapevine, Texas. Police believe her body had been dropped from a bridge. Casey Jo had been raped, beaten and strangled, her sister said. Her sister also said Casey Jo was struggling to finish high school, get off drugs and stop her life as a prostitute. After discovering the body on Saturday, authorities from Grapevine went to Oklahoma to seek help from tribal and Bureau of Indian Affairs officials.
