Yavapai tribe moving forward with major developments
Friday, January 23, 2004

The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation of Arizona has a lot of major projects on its plate.

The tribe is breaking ground early next month on a $3.2 million RV park that includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and spa. The facility will have 150 spaces and will be located on 19 acres near the tribe's casino. The park will open late this year.

Also in the pipeline is a 250-room hotel and conference center that is set to open in fall 2005. The tribe is going to expand its golf course as well.
