BIA taking comments on tribal justice center in Idaho

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is taking public comments on a proposed tribal justice center on the Shoshone-Bannock Reservation in Idaho. The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes want to build a center that includes a a police department, adult detention center and tribal court. According to the BIA, two sites are being considered for the project. A meeting will be held January 28, with public comments due by February 11. Get the Story:
