Braun to end presidential bid and support Dean

Democratic presidential candidate Carol Moseley Braun will end her campaign and throw her support behind Howard Dean, The New York Times reports.

According to the paper, Braun, a former senator and ambassador, approached Dean after this past Sunday's debate, in which race issues were discussed. After speaking with Dean about affirmative action and other issues, she decided to endorse him

During the debate, Dean was the only candidate to mention Native Americans.
