Washoe chairman endorses Clark for president

Brian Wallace, chairman of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and the state's Democratic Party�s first vice-chairman, is endorsing general Wesley Clark for president.

Clark is "quick to understand and respect indigenous peoples� issues, most of the things we value," Wallace told the Associated Press.

Clark was one of several candidates who spoke to the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) last month.
