Ex-tribal employees seek bigger damage award

Three former employees of a hotel owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation want to increase a jury award against the tribe to nearly $13 million. A jury awarded the three $6.8 million judgment for emotional distress they suffered after being fired from the hotel. The ex-employees have now placed an attachment on the hotel, saying they are owed interest and other damages for their claim. Get the Story:
