Claude Allen, the deputy secretary at the Department of Health & Human Services, is visiting the Navajo Nation today and tomorrow.

Allen will meet with tribal leaders to discuss health issues, visit sites in the tribal capitol in Window Rock, Arizona, and visit a Navajo home.

Allen has earned praise for working with tribal leaders and has been nominated to a seat on a federal appeals court. The Senate is still considering the nomination.
