The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona is working with private organizations to build and improve 20 hours on the reservation.

The tribe will spend $121,000 every year over five years for the project. Tribal members will be required to contribute 400 hours working on their homes. Several community groups are providing volunteer labor and several private firms are donating materials and equipment.
