Tulalip Tribes donate more than $2.5 million

The Tulalip Tribes of Washington have donated more than $2.5 million in casino profits to various groups and programs.

The Tulalip Elementary School, the National Indian Gaming Association, the Childrens Museum in Snohomish County, the African American Cultural Center and the Seattle Indian Health Board received donations totaling more than $333,000 this week.

In June, the tribes gave $1 million to the Snohomish County Boys & Girls Club and in August, the tribes gave $1.2 million.
