Totem pole used by school on way home to Alaska

The University of Northern Colorado returned a totem pole to the Tlingit Tribe of Alaska on Monday.

A reported 20 tribal members were on hand to receive the pole, which wa taken from a Tlingit village in 1908. The 20-foot pole tells the story of the Bear Clan. Called "Totem Teddy" by students and others, it inspired the school's mascot.
