Oglala Lakota College on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota has received a 10-year accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.

The college was rated high in the areas of community, employee commitment, mission, service model and Lakota Studies Program.

The North Central Board of Trustees issues a report September 26 on the college.
