Navajo community's Head Start still closed

A brand new Head Start on the Navajo Nation that was vandalized continues to undergo renovations in preparation of reopening. The director of the Northern Navajo Agency�s Head Start program doesn't know when the facility, located in Upper Fruitland, New Mexico, will reopen. A reported 37 Navajo children, ages 3 to 5, have not been able to attend since the building was closed early last month. Five juveniles, ages 7 to 12, have been detained for allegedly vandalizing the Head Start. Get the Story:
