Another Okla. tribe agrees to tobacco compact

The Iowa Tribe has agreed to a new tobacco compact, Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry (D) said on Thursday. The announcement brings to four the number of tribes who have argred to share more revenues with the state. The Choctaw, Chickasaw and Seminole nations formally signed the compact on Wednesday. Several tribal leaders have said their smoke shops will be put out of business under the new agreement. Get the Story:
