B.C. commission releases annual report on treaties
Wednesday, October 1, 2003

The British Columbia Treaty Commission released its annual report on the treaty process on Tuesday.

The report claims negotiations are going well with 52 First Nations. Three two agreements-in-principle have been announced although no treaty has been finalized.

Only the Nisga'a Nation has a treaty with the province but it was negotiated outside of the current framework.
