First Nation to accept land for flood damage

Members of the Chemawawin Cree First Nation in Manitoba have voted to accept a 35,000-hectare land settlement. The land is being offered for damages the band suffered from a dam project. Manitoba Hydro has paid $10 million for flooding that affected a lake. Get the Story:
