Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) is introducing legislation to improve economic development conditions in Indian Country.

The Tribal Economic Enhancement Act of 2003 includes tax relief, tax credits, bonding incentives and streamlined procedures to boost banking on reservations. Johnson said it will benefit tribes and Indian entrepreneurs.
