Students drawn to Junior Native Youth Olympics

More than 230 elementary school students took part in the Junior Native Youth Olympics in Anchorage, Alaska, on January 16.

The number was a record for the event, hosted by the Cook Inlet Tribal Council Inc. Students from 24 schools in Anchorage and Native villages competed in the stick pull, kneel jump, seal hop, Alaska high kick and other traditional games.
