E-mail worm quickly spreading through Internet
Tuesday, January 27, 2004
A new e-mail worm dubbed "Mydoom" is spreading quickly through the Internet. You might receive a message from a friend or associate that looks garbled. The message tells you open an attachment with a name like "document.zip," "message.zip," or "readme.zip." Opening the attachment infects your computer with a program that sends a large amount of information to a website. More information on the worm and how to remove it can be found at http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?
