White Earth tribal college president resigns post

Helen Klassen has resigned as president of the White Earth Tribal and Community College on the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota. Klassen will pursue a teaching career at Minnesota State University in Moorehead, the Associated Press reported. Klassen was at the center of a inter-tribal dispute last spring. She was fired by the tribal council but a tribal judge reinstated her. Get the Story:
