NOVEMBER 29, 2000 Call it the case of the missing 500-pound Indian. A 7-foot tall wooden statue of an Indian was stolen in 1996 from a lot in Omaha, Nebraska. The Indian's owner forgot about the theft but the statue mysteriously turned up again, after an anonymous donor returned it. But the owner is still missing a companion Cowboy statue, also weighing about 500 pounds. Get the Story:
