OCTOBER 9, 2000 Two tribes that won't be celebrating Columbus Day this year are the Mohegan Tribe and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. The Mohegan tribe's offices will be business as usual today. The Pequot offices will be closed, but a spokesman said its a day of mourning. Get the Story:
