OCTOBER 26, 2000 Yankton Sioux tribal members are accusing the police chief of Wagner, South Dakota, of using excessive force while arresting an Indian woman. Witnesses say Chief Ed Zylstra unncessarily threw Sharon K. Gullikson down on the ground. The mayor said she knocked Zylstra down first. Gullikson is homeless and is an alcoholic. Get the Story:
