WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2001 Former Attorney General Janet Reno on Tuesday officially declared she is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor of Florida. Reno filed the paperwork to start raising funds and hire staff. A number of other Democrats are also seeking the nomination.
