WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, 2001 In advance of his bid for re-election in 2002, Senator Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) has already raised a little over $1 million in the first six months of the year. The amount is almost twice the amount he raised in the first six months of 1996. Then, he only raised $600,000.
