JUNE 11, 2001 The Libertarian Party of New Mexico officially nominated Russell Means as its candidate for Governor on Friday. Means was unable to attend the party's state convention. He has a home outside of Santa Fe. Means may be disqualified from running due to a 1975 court conviction stemming from his American Indian Movement days. Get the Story:
