APRIL 5, 2001 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe are but two of the members of The Connecticut Society, a Washington, DC, based social club that regularly sponsors meetings, breakfasts, and other events with the state's Congressional delegation. According to the society's web page, the two are the only tribes who are corporate members of the group. There are 22 corporate members in all, including health-care giant CIGNA, the drug company Pfizer, and and United Technologies. Individuals may join the society by paying dues. Get the Story:
