Man returns home to reservation

Joe Loya is one of about 215 American Indians who live in the census tract that encompasses the 25,000-acre Torres-Martinez Reservation in southern California.

Loya is also a member of the Torres-Martinez Band of Desert Cahuilla. Loya said he hopes other members would move back to the reservation like he did but homes are needed first.
