Inter-tribal organization eyed

Seeking to improve the political clout of tribes in the West, the Navajo Nation is meeting with tribal leaders from Wyoming and Montana to discuss an inter-tribal coalition.

The Navajo Nation hopes the coalition can bring tribes together to lobby Congress and other federal agencies. The tribe already has its own office in Washington, DC.
