MARCH 9, 2001 The newly opened Isleta Casino and Resort in Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico, has been a success with local residents who say it brings a bit of Las Vegas closer to home. The 300,000-square-foot casino opened last Friday. It includes 1,750 slot machines, a sports bar, and a number of restaurants. Isleta Pueblo is about 15 miles south of Albuquerque. Get the Story:
