Choctaw company gets Army contract

MONDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2001

Choctaw Manufacturing and Development Corp., owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, has won a 10-year contract to design and build an Army space heater.

The heater is used for various purposes and in various situations by the government. The contract is worth anywhere between $55 million and $125 million, said Choctaw Chief Greg Pyle.
