APRIL 2, 2001 The Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission on Friday April 6 will hold a hearing on a complaint filed by the Eastern Pequot Tribe against the town of North Stonington. The town has been using taxpayer dollars to challenge the tribe's bid for federal recognition. But the town doesn't want to release certain documents to the tribe because leaders say the documents are protected by attorney-client privilege.
