OCTOBER 23, 2000 Police in St. Paul, Minnesota, have charged a man with the drive-by shooting death of Benjamin Bennett, the son of Audrey Kohnen, the president of the Prairie Island Mdewakanton Dakota council. Julius W. Barker was charged with second-degree murder for shooting Bennett earlier this month. The two apparently had a falling out before the shooting allegedly occurred. Get the Story:
