TUESDAY, JULY 24, 2001 Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) has scheduled a public hearing next month to address diabetes among Indians in Montana. The hearing will take place August 13 and Baucus is asking Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson to appear. Thompson has oversight over the Indian Health Service.
