JUNE 29, 2001 The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations is accusing police in Saskatoon of a cover-up in the death of an Aboriginal man now that the province's Department of Justice has refused to lay criminal charges related to the incident. Like other Native men, Rodney Naistus was found dead on the outskirts of Saskatoon last winter. Police have been implicated in the death. Saskatoon's police chief has been fired, but city officials say it has no connection to the deaths of Native men. Get the Story:
