NOVEMBER 24, 2000 HIV infections and cases of AIDS among aboriginals in Canada have grown 91 percent over the past three years, says Health Canada. In 1996, aboriginals represented about 8 percent of AIDS cases. In 1999, they represent about 15 percent. Natives diagnosed with AIDS tend to be younger than non-Natives.
