APRIL 10, 2001 The Unified School District 415 in Hiawatha, Kansas, voted unanimously on Monday to get rid of Hiawatha High School's "Redkins" mascot. The mascot will now be the Red Hawks. The school's nickname will be the Hawks. Get the Story:
