Wisconsin archaeologists are celebrating the discovery of 1,100-year-old charcoal drawings attributed to ancestors of the Ho-Chunk Nation.

The drawings were found in a cave by an amateur archaeologist in 1998. The site has been kept secret since then and archaeologists hope they can use it to date other cave art drawings.
