DECEMBER 7, 2000 The Secret Service routinely investigates threats against the President's life and in Nebraska, that happens about once a month, says The Lincoln Journal Star. Bill Clinton will be visiting Nebraska on Friday but two Secret Service Agents got there first. They investigated a Unversity of Nebraska student who wrote in a student newspaper column that she would shoot Clinton if he didn't grant clemency to Leonard Peltier. The Secret Service says they aren't increasing security due to the column. Get the Story:
