DECEMBER 5, 2000 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut and the Norwich City Council met on Monday to discuss renewing plans to revitalize the city's downtown. The project started out as a restaurant, retail space, and apartments but was scaled down and changed over the years. The tribe's planning permits expired last year but talks have resumed and the city and the tribe are expected to announce the details of the plan in January. Get the Story:
