JUNE 15, 2000 Representative Sam Gejdenson (D Conn) has hand delivered a letter to Representative Donnie Young (R Alaska) in support of a Congressional investigation into the 1983 Mashantucket Pequot Settlement Act. Young is Chairman of the House Committee on Resources. Gejdenson says he supports an investigation even though he belives Congress did nothing wrong in enacting the law. He also again defended his role in pushing the legislation through Congress. Get the Story:
