der=0 cellpadding=3 cellspacing=0 width=100%> Navajos can't sue Hopi Tribe Dissident Navajo members lost another battle yesterday when an appellate court ruled that they could not sue the Hopi Tribe over lands in federal court without the consent of the tribe. In 1974, a federal law was enacted to resolved the land dispute between the federal government, the Navajo Nation, and the Hopi Tribe. The remaining Navajos living on the land were forced into arbitration in 1996. About the Photo:
