MAY 15, 2000 A team of Guatemalan archaeologists have uncovered a large Mayan site in the northern state of Peten. "El Pajaro" is believed to be as large as Tikal, a famous Mayan city. The city is between 670 to 800 years old, said chief archaeologist Salvador Lopez. Get the Story:
