Nisga'a dissenters seek to stop treaty
VANCOUVER (CP) - A judge refused Wednesday to grant a temporary B.C. Supreme Court injunction to stop the federal government from passing the historic Nisga'a treaty. Justice Paul Williamson said the legislation to make the treaty law is still being debated in the Senate and declined the injunction.
