AUGUST 28, 2000 The Pease Fire hit the Crow Reservation in Montana on Satuday and is now 65 percent contained, said the Bureau of Indian Affairs. No injuries were reported and the fire mostly burned grazing land and destroyed some property. Firefighters were joined by local volunteers and were helped by rain on Sunday morning to calm the fire.
