JUNE 12, 2000 Mark Fry, former principal of the Menominee Indian High School was sentenced to 10 years for sexually assaulting two 17-year old students. The Menominee tribe of Wisconsin banished Fry in 1996, after being placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into the charges. He was principal at the high school for three years. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge Earl Schmidt sentenced Fry to jail time despite a plea bargain which recommended a year in jail plus 13 years probation. Get the Story:
