Hopi Tribe holds ceremony in honor of Piestewa
MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2003
The Hopi Tribe of Arizona held a ceremony on Friday for Lori Piestewa, the tribal member killed in action in Iraq.
A reported 750 gathered at the Hopi Veterans Memorial Center on the Hopi Reservation. Hopi Chairman Wayne Taylor Jr. and Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. spoke.
