The visit is Biden’s first to Indian Country as president. He will discuss his administration’s nation-to-nation efforts and offer an apology for the federal government’s genocidal Indian boarding school era.

The event takes place at the Gila Crossing Community School, a tribally-controlled school on the reservation.
