Kennedy Center hosts discussion on missing and murdered Indigenous women

The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., is hosting a discussion about missing and missing Indigenous women.

The event takes place this Friday, September 6. It features Kennedy Center Social Practice Resident Dr. Elizabeth Rule, a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, and author Vanessa Lillie, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation.

Following the discussion, Rule will sign copies of her book, Indigenous DC: Native Peoples and the Nation’s Capital. Lillie will sign copies of her book, Blood Sisters.

The event is free to attend. Tickets can be reserved at kennedy-center.org.
