‘Outcropping’ exhibition highlights Shinnecock/Indigenous representation
Shinnecock Nation artists feature prominently in an all-Indigenous exhibition in Southampton, New York.
“Outcropping — Indigenous Art Now” features more than 50 artists from around the world. It’s a platform for Indigenous issues from a variety of perspectives, but it is curated by Jeremy Dennis from the Shinnecock Nation, the original Native inhabitants of the land where the exhibition is housed.
