Santa Ana Pueblo in New Mexico purchased a large ranch that was put on the market earlier this year for $33 million. The tribe closed on the sale on June 14, according to news reports, but the purchase price was not disclosed. Gov. Myron Armijo plans to discuss the transaction at a press conference on Friday. The Alamo Ranch consists of 60,000 deeded acres and 14,000 acres, according to real estate firm Hall and Hall. It's located near Santa Ana Pueblo and it borders the reservations of two other tribes. The property was owned by the family of the late Bruce King, a former governor of New Mexico. Get the Story:
